How CieAura Chips Work Background
Traditional Chinese Medicine is an energy medicine. Acupuncturists dating back 5000 years also employed these energetic principles of positive and negative or yin and yang with the neutral center energy of mind being the way of the Tao. The Chinese have developed the art of promoting an inner energy flow that was considered the basis of healing. Physical disease was thought to have an energetic origin of stagnated energy or blockage. When a person is injured, the body “naturally” reacts to the injury by slowing circulation to the injury, resulting in pain and swelling. Once this "blockage" of energy was dispersed and a greater flow of energy stimulated, symptoms of illness normalize and begin an aggressive healing posture. These energy flows run throughout the body on pathways called "meridians," mapped out from traditional Chinese medical texts and named after different organs and body systems. Along the meridians, various concentrations of energy, known as "points," can be stimulated through massage, needle or heat application to promote well-being. There have been many applications of palm energy, mineral and gem placement and, most recently, electrical stimulation on specific acupuncture points to influence the human energy field. A common example of energy flow can be seen in a garden hose. The water freely flows until a kink occurs in the hose. This slows the flow down to a trickle. This juncture is where the blockage of water is occurring. If we straighten the kink (compared to stimulating an acupuncture point along a stagnant meridian) the strength of the flow is restored.
Acupuncture therapy is mainly concerned with the movements of energy on the superficial channels of the body. To re-establish the harmony of the energies in diseased state, the procedure is to puncture, heat, laser or otherwise, stimulate the specific acupuncture points situated on the sub-surface channels. The seven chakras correlate to acupuncture points (the Chakra is an area, not a point). The purpose of therapy is to balance the energies in the chakras to maintain health. Breathing exercises, meditation, prayer and balanced nutrition are the foremost therapeutic methods of preventive medicine.
Similar explanations of these energies have been found in nearly every culture: the symbolism of the totem pole of the Polynesians and Eskimos, the mandala of the Tibetans, Mayans, Incas; the medicine wheel of the American Indian; the Stonehenge configuration of the Druids and conch carvings of Nordic societies.
In every culture the sacred explanation of energies were provided by the healers or sages. Healers of old felt that negative thoughts and emotions carried by the energy currents caused blockages or short circuits resulting in disease. The ancients believed that removing these energy blocks and balancing these energy fields would restore a person to health. Their writings indicate the causes of most diseases were not physical. Health depended on the free flow of these primary energies.
The body, it was felt, was an innocent bystander, not the causative factor. Remedies were used to relieve the symptoms and manipulation of subtle energy currents used to remove the cause. The use of energy, as taught by the ancients, used needles, remedies or hands placed on certain energy points. The energy could also be radiated from one person to another.
From 1980 to the present has seen a virtual explosion in the interests and technology of intrinsic energy research instrumentation. The orthodox scientific community has made tremendous advances in being able to measure and verify the existence of energies.
